Welcome to the home of
the Golden Triangle Explorers Society. The club was founded
in 1967, making it the ”oldest organized treasure hunting
club” in Texas. We have meetings once a month to discuss any
and all areas of treasure hunting.
We have members
interested in coins, relics, gold, water hunting and just
about anything old. We have interesting speakers in all
areas of metal detecting and other treasure hunting
techniques.
Probably the most
enjoyable part of our meetings is the time spent visiting
and partaking of the fine spread on our food table followed
by a drawing and awarding of door prizes. The meetings are
usually concluded with the presentation of the “Find of The
Month” winners. The categories are coins, jewelry, relics,
most unusual, and second chance. (You must be a member to
submit finds.)
We would like to invite
any interested party to attend one of our meetings and see
what we are all about.
